Derby Lodge Residential Care Home Preston officially opened in 1989. We are a Care Home for young adults who are physically disabled in Lancashire.  We are administered under the private sector and registered with the Care Quality Commission. 

We can accommodate 23 adults at our Care Home for young adults.  Individual flats are also available for those clients who wish to enjoy self contained accommodation.

Our Unit caters for Physically Disabled (either through accident, illness or birth) Learning Disability, Depression, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, Visual Impairment and any other Physical or Mental disability where we can meet the care needs.

Derby Lodge Care Home for Young Adults has been awarded 5 stars under the RDB Star Rating Scheme.  We have also been awarded two wheelchair awards for our accommodation for wheelchair users.  This is the highest award that can be offered.   We are also part of the Lancashire County Council Preferred Providers scheme for physical disability.
